Swim League Program
KSA Swim League
Begins April 1st!
The Kissimmee Swim Association is beginning a Swim League April 2010. It is the perfect time for kids to get out, have fun, learn proper swimming technique and make some life long friends. Swimmers will learn proper body position, stroke technique, and gain a foundation for swimming that they will use the rest of their lives.
Swimming is one of the best ways for kids to participate in a fun sport and get plenty of exercise.
Swimmers must be able to swim basic front crawl in order to join. Swimmers will practice with the Sharks training group (Take a look at our practice schedule page for information). If a swimmer is very advanced different group placement may be available.
You may choose from two different practice schedules:
Monday and Wednesday
or
Tuesday and Thursday
Practice Schedule:
April 1st-June 10th - 4:30-5:30PM
June 14th-August 19th - 9:30-10:30AM
August 26th-August 29th - 6:30-7:30PM
Cost for Summer League:
$50 for registration*
* Includes Team T-Shirt and Team Swim Cap!
$35 per month
or
$150++ for the whole summer (April thru August)
++Pay up front and save $25!!!
Swim Meets
The season will consist of dual meets (beginning in June), a fun learning environment, and will end with two big area swim meets. The Central Sunshine League Championships and the Kissimmee Fall Invitational, both held in August.
Come by the Makinson Aquatic Center at 2204 Denn John Lane in Kissimmee Monday through Thursdays from 5-7PM to sign up!
End of Summer Information
At the end of August, if swimmers would like to continue, they may register for 2011 with the club and continue on the path to being a top notch swimmer!
